what if your partner is negative of herpes but i have experience herpes symptoms? i haven't cheated or have unprotected sex in pass relationships, but now i have started to have unprotected sex with my partner who have unprotected sex several times,but resently i have seen symptoms that are related to genital herpes, d doctor said it could b herpes, my partner tested and it was negative. Could it be possible that i have this virus and i have unprotected sex with him only, should i take this test too, and he is negative.

Any test or symptoms for Herpes ? I had an unsafe intercourse and oral sex almost two years ago. I tested for HIV and was told to be negative. So I have learned that a whopping 25% of American adults carry the HSV-2 virus, which can cause genital herpes. However, there are people (like myself) who carry this virus without ever getting herpes (the sores themselves), or who get such mild outbreaks that we don't even recognize it. I have not seen any figures on how many HSV carriers actually get herpes symptoms (to the point of being noticeable and uncomfortable). I mean, if 99% of us end up with nothing more than a barely-noticeable pimple every once in a while, then it's actually a pretty innocuous virus. But if HSV2 does end up causing painful herpes in the majority of its hosts, that's cause for concern. Does anyone have any figures on the actual size of the "herpes" epidemic compared to the "HSV2" epidemic? (This matters to me because I met a girl that I really like, and I want to know what kind of danger I'd be putting her in if we got together!)

How to deal with Herpes symptoms(first outbreak)? My b/f found out that he's has the herpes virus and had no outbreaks for years. There has been a lot of stress in his life lately and is havng his first outbreak now. It's not a good one, very painful. It is on his mouth,tongue, inside his mouth, on the penis and scrotum. He wakes up with his mouth sealed and his uretha was sealed. Can anyone offer any tips as to how to deal with these symptoms? He feels like he wants to die right now. Stress is probably what triggered it and now he is stressing over the outbreak and I know that isn't helping either. Any input would be greatly appreciated. He was prescribed acyclovir when he was first diagnosed about 1 1/2 to 2 mths ago. He's been taking it regularly ever since. We found out about his herpes right after we started feeling more than friendship with each other. We hadn't had sexual intercourse at the time yet. He thought any chance for us was over but I knew I wanted to be with him, he was everything I had been looking for and I stuck by him. Now it kills me to see him in such pain and discomfort and to see him feel so broken.

Ive had a few little bumps going on but nothing too bad. Now can herpes cause you to feel sick all the time? Strange symptoms... negative herpes test.. positive partner with no symptoms.. whats goin on!!? ok. so a few weeks back I started having some strange symptoms, mainly cramps and back pain. I went to the doctor and they suspected it was some sort of std.. My test came back negative for everything, but my boyfriend was tested at the same time and tested positive for herpes. My test was negative, but I did have an abnormal papsmear and am undergoing cervical cancer screening, but I never found out what made me sick in the first place. My b/f has never had an outbreak and shows no symptoms.. should I be tested again? Is one of our tests wrong? Lately I have been breaking out in hives on my arms and legs... is that related? what are the symptoms of herpes? here's the deal. I haven't had sex in like....since end of october. so like 3 months. i do have a lot of anxiety sometimes and a few months ago shaved that area pretty good but no symptoms initially after i shaved the area. i have irritation on both sides of my shaft. there are no liasons, blisters, or secretions. it doesn't hurt when i go the bathroom. it's only come on in the last few weeks and no sores developed just irritation. also when i go to bed, it doesn't hurt. when i wake up it doesn't hurt either. just after about an hour after i get up i start freaking out about it. if you have herpes does it wake you up from the pain? i've also noticed the last 4 or 5 months that i'll wake up and it's like i've peed the bed but it's my whole groin area and it's just sweating like crazy. i've researched everything on herpes and went to the doc who took a look and didn't see anything. still i'm a little freaked out. any ideas? does this sound like herpes?

My STI blood test was positive for HSV1. I have never had symptoms. Do I definitely have genital herpes? I had a PAP and STI screening done at Planned Parenthood. I had never had the STI screening done before. My PAP came back normal and all other STI tests were negative. However, my doctor told me the blood test was positive for HSV1. I have never had symptoms of Herpes (genital or oral, except cold sores in childhood). I believe the positive test was a blood test, not a skin culture. My doctor told me I probably got HSV1 through oral sex, implying that I have genital herpes. I have done some research and I am wondering if I definitely have genital herpes or if it's possible that I have only oral herpes. If I have genital herpes, how is that determined if I have no symptoms?

Ok, so on the left side of where my vagina is(not on the lips) or inside my vagina, but the skin next to the vagina lips, there is a small bump(raised) the colour of my flesh. Am i showing symptoms of herpes? I had unprotected oral sex with a girl 3 months ago, and then after that again a month ago.About after 2 weeks of the episode i was told by my friend she had herpes. I get these under the skin knots around my bikini/vaginal lip area sometimes, nothing ever happens to them unless I mess with them, but they itch a little bit like razor burn does, and sometimes they just go away, other times I will continue to mess with them, and they just pop like a pimple would. My cat has been diagnosed with Feline Herpes. Her symptoms were coughing, running nose and eyes.? The vet prescribed her Ensiyl(spelling). I called the vet yesterday to refill the medicine and to ask if her now runny nose and eyes are an issue. The vet said that she will have the runny nose and eyes forever, as it goes with the herpes.
