Does Herpes virus II infects through blood to blood contact?
Both I and my wife are infected with Herpes II virus.We have got a son of 5 months old.We want to know whether herpes can be infected by a non herpes person with blood of infected person?

- If your wife had a break out during birth, then more than likely he will have it. If she had a C-section then he should be OK. The only real way to pass it is to have contact with an open sore.
