Herpes
Is it Herpes or just a spot?
About 4 times in the past 8 or so years I have developed what looks like a spot but slightly deeper under the skin surface on the line where my lip meets my skin. I have read about Herpes and it does tingle and throb but it never blisters or scabs or looks much like any of the pictures I have seen. Is it just an ordinary spot in a painful place or Herpes? It usually goes away on its own after a few days.

- It could be just a cold sore which is actually a form of herpes (but not STD strand)
- Sounds like herpes. Herpes does eventually burn itself out without any treatment,so you may just be one of the lucky ones! As it lives in your body for evermore ,you will get recurreces though!
