Do pimple like bump in the groin area symptoms of herpes simplex?

The bump is like a pimple with white hard thing in the middle. It is very painful and the area around the bump is very red.

3. It could just be razor burn. I would definitely go get it checked if you think it could be something else. Give it a day or two and just keep an eye on it. It doesn't sound like herpes, but you never know. Sounds more like an ingrown hair or razor burn.

Herpes is a complicated condition. 90% of people who have it are unaware because they either have no symptoms or have mild symptoms that are mistaken for other things like razor burn, jock itch, yeast infections, ingrown hairs, etc. I'm not trying to scare you, just stating facts. 7. They are often red multiple bumps & are painful & itchy. You do not want to irritate it by scratching it, as that will open & spread the sores.
