is this a cold sore? (herpes) (picture)?

i'm stuck between pimple/ingrown hair/ mosquito bite/ and cold sore http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w234/bluemidnights6/Picture068.jpg if it is a cold sore(herpes) - will i ever get the severe blisters? like the gross pictures on google/yahoo when they come back will they get worse?

If that's a cold sore, I'm a monkey. Generally, only small children and immune compromised people ever have severe cold sore outbreaks. Usually, you get one or two sores which heal within two weeks. My 2 and 4 year olds were unlucky enough to be exposed to the virus at preschool this year. They both spent three weeks with sores all over them and in horrible pain.
It could be, but my vote is for pimple or insect bite. If you've never had a cold sore before, it's probably not a cold sore since the first outbreak is usually more than one little bump. Also, they really look different - raw and open.
