Herpes

herpes... did i get it?

i recently had sex with my girlfriend of the past 5 years... last time we had sex was 2 months ago. now this time everything was normal... nothing out of the ordinary. but two days later i noticed the head of my penis had some red spots. not soars, not bumps, not painful at all. wouldnt have noticed it either unless i saw it. its been now 3-4 days since i saw them and still hasnt really changed. I am uncircumsized and kind noticed the spots on the head somewhat mimic the location of milder spots on foreskin when drawn back. I have searched alot on google images and yahoo images for herpes type 2... and i cannot find any pictures that resemble what i see. I do not have any blisters forming or bumps whatsoever. suggestions? thats for the quick replies. One more thing to add, my girlfriend is asian and she recently got eczema in the past few months. no outbreaks of skin irritation near her genitals or anything just a bit on face and arms. can that contribute to any of this?

  1. Go to your doctor and get tested. It might not be an STD, but it could be something else.
  2. You should definitely contact your physician immediately. It may not be herpes, although it can a number of different things such as different STDs or even an allergic reaction to some food or a condom you might've used.
  3. i suggest you go to the clinic and see some one before it gets worse or in case its something more serious and no good asking any one on hear as we can not see it as you have not sent a picture or diagram of it
  4. Dude go to the doctor ASAP. Don't try to self-diagnose
  5. Does not sound like Herpes but maybe a yeast infection but go see your doctor.
  6. eczema, which is easily seen as irritated dry skin, would seem it could increase the chance that a virus could be passed as there could be very minisucle cuts or cracks in the epidermis. Uncircumsized often is related to male yeast infection since it can leave a dark damp area in a sometimes bacteria full place. In looking through the Internet pictures of herpes and descriptions all seem to depict a bump since your body is fighting the virus puss (the white stuff in blisters) is usually involved. If the bumps or "spots" move together and rise in the next couple days become more concerned. *Of course, if you're AT ALL concerned get tested. Sex is a contact sport and scapes or burns or something can be just from friction but you'll never know unless your tested. Keep in mind that STD symptoms mostly come and go and are transmittable all the while.
