Herpes

Any test or symptoms for Herpes ?

I had an unsafe intercourse and oral sex almost two years ago. I tested for HIV and was told to be negative. I haven't been tested for other STDs which obviously show some signs, I don't have those signs. But I have no clue about Herpes, if it shows any symptoms or if there is any clinicaly test. Can you tell me if there is a clincal test for herpes and if not how I could know?

1. You can get a blood test for herpes, however blood tests are not 100% accurate when testing for herpes. With herpes, the symptoms usually occur within 12-14 days of being infected in most people and they are small painful bumps in the infected area, however in some people, the virus can remain dormant for quite sometime before the first outbreak occurs.
2. most common symptom is blisters,others r infection of conjuctiva,shingles rash,,,yeah tre r test..hv to be troug ur blood
3. They do a scraping of the affected area durring an outbreak. Allowing them to test for the virus.
4. you can look up the symptoms at mayoclinic.com or webmd.com. usually if u have an outbreak the doctor will swab or culture test of the outbreak and have the swab tested. the doctor can also do a blood test but the swab test is more accurate.
