Herpes????
My fiance won't stop obsessing over some bumbs on his penis. He has been to the doc numerous times, had blood tests etc. they tell him he is fine. Well now he has little white head looking things in the crease of his leg like in his groin and once again is obsessing over it. He is going to the doc today, but I wanted to know if anyone knows if its possible for the doc to miss herpes with a blood test? is that how they test for it? because I mean wouldn't the doctor have known before if that was what it was? He says it can stay dormant for years and hes worried he has had herpes for like 4years and not known it. I keep telling him he is fine, but should i be worried?

- He doesn't have herpes. He has what is scientifically labeled "the itchies". He needs to take a super hot shower and he'll be OK. Guaranteed.
- Well, if the doctor tested for it specifically, they should be able to figure out if that's what's going on. Maybe he has warts. *shrug* Maybe he's getting boils from hard water. Is the local water hard? It could be anything. If he's had the testing done and it's all negative, I'd say he needs a new girl. Has he gotten -her- tested?
- They test for herpes and almost any other STD through blood tests. If it came back negative then he doesnt have anything. If you havent contracted it in the 4 years he has thought to have it then thats not what it is. You would have contracted it by now and noticed it on yourself.
